Simple marble cake recipe made using Milo powder, good as a tea time ... This is my first time~~~
Ingredients
125g dark chocolate - diced and melted (i replace the dark chocolate with the Milo powder
125g butter or Magerine
125g castor sugar
3 eggs - slightly beaten
155g self raising flour
80 ml fresh milk
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
How to make Chocolate Marble Cake
Step 1. Cream butter and sugar till light.
Step 2. Pour in the eggs, a little at a time. Add in vanilla essence. Continue beating.
Step 3. Add in flour alternately with fresh milk, starting and ending with flour.
Step 4. Divide the mixture into 2. Add one portion with the melted chocolate or Milo powder (you can choose either one) and leave the other one plain.
Step 5. Grese well, a small baking tin. Spoon 2 tablespoons of plain mixture onto the middle of the baking tin. Top it with 2 tablespoons of chocolate mixture. Continue the proses until all the mixture is used up.
Step 6. Bake in a preheated oven at 170 C for 45 minutes or till done.
This is my 1st time saw the twin egg yolks...
Divide the mixture into 2.....
I choose to used the Milo Powder is because easy to get compared to chocolate bar and I'm lazy bone person......lazy to melt the chocolate bar. :P
Mix well the chocolate with the flour
Allow to cool before serving.
